We adore these little wooden animals from Japanese brand T-Lab.

Each one is hand-carved from Indonesian white albizia wood (which is a sustainable wood from T-Lab's own carefully managed farm), before being painted by hand to give it its own unique character! 'Pole-Pole' means 'slowly slowly' in Swahili, which perfectly describes the way in which these special animals are made: with love, care and the greatest attention to detail.
